Revised Daily Routine due to COVID-19

Due to the current circumstances there are a few procedures we have put in place to ensure Peak Time users and parents are as safe as possible.  These are as follows:

  • Children are to be in bubbles of no more than 15 and in line with school bubbles
  • Hand washing will be frequent
  • Children are encouraged, when sneezing or coughing, to do so into their elbow or a tissue
  • If a child is displaying symptoms of COVID 19 they will be kept separately to the other children and their parents/carers will be called and asked to pick them up as soon as possible
  • If a child is deemed to be showing inappropriate behaviour (eg. spitting) their parent/carers will be called and asked to pick them up

Breakfast Club

  • Parents/carers are to sanitise their hands, ring the bell outside the Peak Time building, and wait for a member of staff to greet them
  • Parent/carer are not allowed into the building
  • A member of staff will bring your child inside, settle them in and help them with breakfast
  • If a family is waiting to be signed in please keep your distance and form a queue
  • Parents/carers are to leave down the Peak Time ramp on to the playground and exit via the field gate
  • We ask that the THE LATEST YOU DROP CHILDREN OFF AT PEAK TIME IS 8.20AM as the school site needs to be clear of families before school drop off begins.  We also stop serving breakfast at 8.20am as this facilitates the necessary time required to clean the setting before Playgroup commences.

After school club

  • KS1 children will be picked up from outside their classroom
  • KS2 children will make their way to the building
  • On arrival children will be placed into their bubbles
  • Activities, snack/tea and other games will be provided as normal
  • On collection we ask that parents/carers to wait outside the Peak Time building, and wait for a member of staff to greet them
  • Parent/carer are not allowed into the building
  • Children will be collected by a member of staff with the coats, bags, bottles, etc and shown outside to their parent/carer
  • If another parent/carer is waiting for their child please keep your distance and form a queue
  • Parent/carer and child are to leave down the Peak Time ramp on to the playground and exit via the field gate
  • We ask that THE EARLIEST YOU PICK CHILDREN UP IS 3:45PM as the school site needs to be clear of families before Peak Time pick up can begin safely
  • We are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of the families that use Peak Time.  Bamford children will be at Peak Time sessions from the 14th September 2020, if it is deemed safe.  Thank you for your understanding in these difficult times.
